Two women were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and having an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle on May 30, according to the Yorktown Police Department. Police officers were on patrol of the Yorktown Green parking lot when they observed Angela R. DiSanto, a 21-year-old Shenorock resident, and Janine M. Patierno, a 20-year-old Danbury, Conn., resident, in a vehicle with open containers of alcohol beverages, a traffic infraction, according to police.
